Born and raised in Tifton, GA, Jerry has dedicated over 35 years to the medical field. He began his career at Tift Regional Medical Center as a Respiratory Care Aide in October 1989. Jerry went on to graduate from Southwest Georgia Technical College (formerly known as Thomas Tech) with a diploma in Respiratory Science in 1991. Jerry left Tift Regional in 1997 to establish the Pulmonary Lab at Affinity Health Group in Tifton, where he oversaw their PFT lab, bronchoscopy lab, and TB clinic.

He returned to Tift Regional Medical Center in October 2000 as Director of Respiratory Services. During his tenure at Tift Regional, Jerry was a community advocate and doubled the department’s size by adding new services. In 2006, Jerry earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Abraham Baldwin College and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Vice President of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Services. Following the birth of his first child in 2008, he transitioned to the role of Executive Director of Respiratory Services while also working part-time as an RN in the ICU and ER at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA.

In 2012, Jerry took on the Director of Nursing position at Golden Living Center in Tifton, GA, where he played a key role in transforming the facility into a top performer. His home care career began in 2017 with BAYADA Home Care in Roswell, GA, as the adult skilled nursing Clinical Manager, where he excelled in working with trach-vent and catastrophically injured clients. Jerry furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2022.

Jerry is now passionately committed to home care, assisting clients in their efforts to remain at home and avoid skilled nursing facilities. He resides in Lawrenceville, GA, with his spouse, his mother, and his two sons, Dillon and Sage. Family has always been his top priority, and he extends that same care and dedication to each of his clients.
